Etudiante au doctorat en anthropologie, Marie Pierre Gadoua est venue un jour cogner à la porte d'Exeko, désireuse tant de participer aux projets d'Exeko pour en apprendre davantage sur les approches que pour nous partager les siennes.

 

 

 

Très impliquée auprès des communautés autochtones et plus spécifiquement des Inuits, Marie Pierre travaille avec des patients Inuits, en collaboration avec l'Institut culturel Avataq. Elle organise des ateliers culturels afin d'améliorer leur bien être durant leur séjour montréalais.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

" J'ai toujours très hâte à mes soirées de bénévolat. Je pense que je suis devenue addict. ", explique la jeune femme, empreinte d'une motivation sans limite! Marie Pierre ne se contente pas d'accompagner les médiateurs à bord d'idAction Mobile : en plus de sa grande faculté d'écoute, elle fait partager ses talents d'accordéoniste, et mobilise tout son réseau pour approvisionner de livres de choix, notamment d'un grand nombre de livres en anglais, notre bibliothèque mobile. "je me sens comme un poisson dans l'eau. En plus, ça nourrit mes idées pour mes activités de recherche collaborative (présentes et futures)"poursuit notre idAction Mobile's addict! Apport mutuel, donc!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

En janvier, la demoiselle organisait des teach-in à l'université autour du mouvement Idle No More, créant des espaces de débat auxquels elle invitait à se joindre les participants du projet :  "C'est quelque chose qui me tient beaucoup à coeur, de faire des liens entre le milieu universitaire et le 'monde réel', c'est-à-dire de faire tomber un peu les frontières et de stimuler les échanges entre les deux mondes."
