Learning and transfer
In addition to our regular programs, we manage various projects focused on knowledge transfer, professional development, and socio-professional mentoring. As a means to develop and spread our practices throughout different sectors, these projects are an integral part of our strategies for social change.
Examples of past and current projects include the following:
-
An academic conference on intellectual mediation held in October 2016;
-
A multilateral mentoring program conducted since 2016 in partnership with Oxfam-Québec in the areas of social innovation and collaborative knowledge-building. Includes training sessions, consultations, targeted support and more.
-
A knowledge transfer initiative carried out with members of Vancouver’s social sector to establish art and philosophy as tools for social interventions;
-
Support for the development of a strategic plan for the Société des Musées du Québec in 2017;
-
Support for Akuk, also known as the Youth Empowerment and leadership Hub, in the community of Kangiqsualujjuaq in Nunavik.
For each of these projects, we tailored our tools and training plans to foster uptake by participants and directly respond to the identified needs.
