Trickster@Mingan : on se prépare pour le spectacle!

Après deux tempêtes et une en cours, les jeunes et l’équipe de Trickster@Mingan sont en préparation pour les représentations du spectacle d’aujourd’hui. Selon les probabilités météorologiques, c’est sous un ciel enneigé et ébranlé par des vents de plus de 100 kilomètres que les participants monteront sur les planches, ce soir.

Après mainte et mainte péripéties, ce matin c’est avec joie que Jani, Isa et Mathieu retrouvent le groupe Trickster, malgré la route fermée. Jani et Spencer, participant au projet, vont faire une annonce à la radio pour que la communauté sache que le tout aura lieu coûte que coûte.

Les jeunes du secondaire de l’école Teueikan ne sont pas vraiment habitués à faire des spectacles, alors c’est un défi pour eux. Les gens qui y participent apprennent chaque jour ce qui doivent faire durant le spectacle.

L’école en entier s’est mobilisée pour que les élèves bénéficient d’assez de temps pour créer et s’améliorer malgré les sauts d’humeur de dame nature.  Ils ont passé une grande partie de leurs journées entières à perfectionner leurs numéros et à évoluer dans leur discipline d’une manière phénoménale. Chacun à son rôle et l’habite avec de plus en plus d’aisance au fil des répétitions.

On découvre des talents cachés et de nouvelles passions naissent, comme Devon qui persévère à perfectionner une danse que nous avons découverte avec lui, la danse des cerceaux. C’est en regardant des vidéos de cette discipline qu’il cherche à expérimenter de nouvelles techniques, mais qui sans le savoir, mets aussi au défi Isabelle qui se dit inspirée de travailler avec cet adolescent.

On perd un grand joueur juste avant le spectacle, la vie nous laissant toujours des surprises sur le chemin depuis le départ. C’est ainsi que Gabriel doit quitter l’aventure pour se diriger vers Québec. Le jeune homme qui avait un des rôles principaux est digne de mention. Présent à tous les ateliers, et ce, depuis le début, il a été le premier à nous partager son talent pour la manipulation de bâtons. Un vrai ninja dans l’âme et, encore une fois, sa présence dans le groupe a été une grande source d’inspiration.

Emmy mentionne que : « C’est tellement le fun d’y participer. C’est trippant ! Le monde d’Ekuanitshit va être impressionné du spectacle ! J’ai hâte de voir ça ! »
