Par grand temps de chasse au spectacle

Il n’y aucun projet Trickster qui se ressemble et pourtant… À chaque fois, on s’y fait prendre. On pense « trickster » les jeunes et on se prend à leur rythme. On s’accroche les pieds dans le printemps de Mingan, dans les outardes qui survolent, dans le crabe qui débarque à midi et 16h00, dans le capelan qui va s’échouer sur la plage d’une journée à l’autre… On attend la marée qui les fera arriver et la nuit qui faudra passer réveillé à les ramasser. On pourra en manger 2 poêlons bien plein pour un total d’une bonne vingtaine… c’est la norme… TOUT LE MONDE s‘entend pour ça… Ça arrive une fois dans l’année!  

Pour un rien, la raison qui nous amène ici devient savoureusement floue et teintée des jeunes de la communauté qui imposeront, sans le vouloir, un rythme, une manière de faire, un humour, une musique, une discipline, des rires, l’angoisse de voir le jour du spectacle arriver et les outardes qui doivent être ramenées à la maison plus que les balles rattrapées pour savoir jongler.  

 

Le long weekend nous rappelle que le soleil goûte meilleur que l’air du gymnase et qu’il fait bon en profiter plutôt que de faire des acrobaties. Durant la semaine, le jour, un calme plane dans les corridors de l’école. Une concentration palpable crie pour ne pas être brisée. On attend, comme pour la chasse… On attend, le bon meilleur moment pour accueillir les jeunes dans les ateliers. À chaque fois, la patience amène ses moments de grande magie. Il n’y a aucun projet Trickster qui se ressemble et pourtant…  

 

Et pourtant, on ressent toujours le vertige de danser à une vitesse qui ne nous est pas habituelle, nous rappelant que Montréal est bruyant, efficace, rapide, insaisissable, euphorique… On y court après l’été alors que le printemps est à peine entamé… Quand le soleil se couche, on ne le voit pas longtemps partir derrière les buildings. Ici, sur la Côte-Nord, non seulement on le voit descendre lentement, mais c’est surtout à cette heure qu’il est possible de jongler, faire des acrobaties, du théâtre, des ombres chinoises et des jeux de confiance. À ce moment, les travaux scolaires sont finis, les outardes se font probablement plumées à la maison et le crabe cuit à la marmite. Il y a une parenthèse dans la journée, une suspension durant laquelle de deux à douze jeunes viennent découvrir les arts vivants du cirque, du théâtre, de la danse et du jeu.  

 

La Côte-Nord nous sourit pour une deuxième fois cette année. Il y a deux mois, nous étions à Nutashkuan. C’est avec joie qu’on retrouve la communauté de Mingan rencontrée pour la première fois l’an passé. Comme si on ne s’était jamais quitté et pourtant…

Et pourtant, c’est comme si nous apprenions à nous connaître et c’est ce qui fait que c’est magique… Un renouveau à chaque fois, une chance de recommencer à zéro et de construire d’une toute nouvelle manière un grand, ensembles… Dans cette ambiance, toutes les possibilités se déploient en éventail. Bien que ça étourdisse et fasse chanceler les repères, nous ne pouvons une fois de plus que remercier Mingan pour son accueil, pour tout ce qu’elle nous partage, pour Hélène Nolin Mollen et ses histoires de chasse, pour les jeunes qui ont les plus grands sourires, pour le personnel enseignant qui est enthousiaste de notre présence entre les murs de l’école Teueikan, pour la direction qui encore une fois met tout en place pour que les jeunes puissent profiter de l’expérience pleinement et surtout pour tous les gens rencontrés dans la communauté.  

 

Nous marchons doucement vers un spectacle, sans faire de bruit, à pas feutrés pour ne pas le faire fuir. Pour qu’il prenne son envol juste à temps, en un joli moment d’accomplissement et de rayonnement devant la communauté, mais pour cela, il faut patience et légèreté, mais surtout beaucoup de plaisir!
