Le Festival TransAmériques cajole nos participants

Le Festival TransAmérique (FTA) invite deux de nos groupes de participants à assister à deux productions de son édition 2013.
Sept jeunes autochtones participants idAction Mobile et trois de nos artistes de Tandem Créatif seront accompagnés par cinq médiateurs et bénévoles à deux différentes représentations ce soir, jeudi 30 mai à Montréal.
 
Au programme pour les participants idAction Mobile
 
Une rencontre autour d’un lunch avec Fabienne Cabado, critique journalistique et médiatrice culturelle, au Cœur des sciences à l’UQAM pour un échange autour de l’art et de la danse comme introduction au spectacle Birds with Skymirrors auquel le groupe assistera au théâtre Maisonneuve. 
 
Dans cette nouvelle création, le chorégraphe Lemi Ponifasio, interpellé par la pollution touchant les côtes des îles Samoa dont il est originaire, met en scène une cérémonie de réconciliation avec la Terre dans un savant mélange d’incantations et de chants immémoriaux.
 
Une discussion publique avec la troupe de danseurs polynésiens et le chorégraphe s’en suivra. Elle sera sans nul doute l’occasion pour notre groupe d’un riche échange autour des rituels et des cultures de chacun.

Au programme pour les artistes de Tandem Créatif
 
Nos participants sont invités à découvrir à l'Usine C, Ganesh Versus the Third Reich, un affrontement qui pose de façon ludique, poétique et politique les questions brûlantes de l’appropriation culturelle, du droit de représenter l’autre et… des jeux de pouvoir du quotidien. 
 
Cette pièce a été mise en scène par Back To Back Theatre, de Melbourne, qui a été fondé pour créer des oeuvres avec des personnes socialement stigmatisées comme ayant une déficience intellectuelle, et porter un regard différent sur le monde et sa normalité...
