Contexte

Né à Montréal depuis 2006., nous utilisons la créativité intellectuelle et artistique – l'art et la philosophie – au service d'une transformation sociale inclusive et émancipatrice. Notre approche reconnaît avant tout le potentiel de chacun.e à réfléchir, analyser, agir, créer et être partie prenante de la société, quels que soient sa situation ou son parcours : nous présumons l’égalité des intelligences. Nous employons à la fois des approches pratiques de médiation intellectuelle et culturelle, et des approches systémiques inspirées de l’innovation sociale. Nous adressons des en jeux d'émancipation intellectuelle, prévention de l'exclusion, lutte contre l'itinérance, (re)conciliation, lutte contre le racisme, participation citoyenne et culturelle, etc.

Les 15 dernières années nous ont permis de faire reconnaitre le caractère innovant de nos approches et les impacts tangibles qu’ont générés les quelques 500 projets complétés auprès de plus de 30 000 participant(e)s au Québec et au Canada. Avec l’appui et la collaboration de plus de 450 partenaires, nous sommes actuellement engagés dans le développement et la consolidation de l’organisme, avec pour objectif de démultiplier les impacts de nos actions.

Conseil d’administration

Notre CA est un organe à la fois décisionnel, de contrôle, de conseil et d’accompagnement.  Il veille à assurer la pérennité de l’organisation et à préserver l’accès de celle-ci aux ressources humaines, matérielles et financières nécessaires à la réalisation de sa mission par la protection de sa crédibilité et de sa réputation. Son rôle consiste pour l’essentiel à :

  • s’assurer que la mission, la vision et les valeurs de l’organisation sont toujours pertinentes et mobilisantes pour les participant.e.s, la communauté, les partenaires et la société ;
  • valider les orientations fondamentales, importantes et stratégiques en adoptant le plan stratégique, les plans d’action annuels, les règlements, en déterminant les délégations d’autorité et en établissant les politiques d’encadrement de la gestion des risques ;
  • approuver le cadre budgétaire, le budget, les états financiers et le rapport annuel d’activité ;
  • contribuer au développement et à la pérennité d’Exeko, au développement de ses capacités financières et organisationnelles ;
  • accompagner, conseiller et évaluer la direction générale de l’organisation ;
  • développer le positionnement stratégique de l’organisation et agir comme ambassadeur de l’organisation ;
  • s’assurer de l’intégrité des processus suivis par la surveillance des activités et des politiques adoptées.

Notre CA est composé de 9 administrateurs(trices) ; 3 sièges sont actuellement vacants et ouverts aux candidatures.

La parité homme-femme est indispensable dans la composition du conseil. Au moins 1 des 3 sièges actuellement vacants doit être comblé par une femme.

Qui plus est, notre organisation souhaite profondément renforcer une représentativité et une participation inclusive et diversifiée à son leadership et sa gouvernance. C’est à ce titre que nous prioriserons les candidatures issues de groupes de population directement concernée par les oppressions et l’exclusion sociale, et habituellement sous représentées dans les instances de pouvoirs : Autochtones, personnes racisées, immigrant.e.s, LGBTQI2SA+, personnes vivant avec un handicap ou une limitation fonctionnelle, etc.

Conditions d’engagement

  • Mandat de 3 ans bénévole
  • Rencontres et documentations en français
  • Participer aux 4 rencontres annuelles du CA (2 à 3h/rencontre), et aux éventuelles rencontres extraordinaires virtuelles ou en personne
  • Participation espérée à un ou plusieurs des comités ad hoc ou permanent
  • Siéger et participer au CA avec intérêt et intégrité

Profils recherchés

  • Détermination à s’engager pour la mission d’Exeko
  • Expériences à titre d’administrateur/trice d’organisme et connaissances des principes de gouvernance
  • Planification et clarté stratégique
  • Connaissances de plusieurs des milieux et secteurs d’action et de positionnement de l’organisme : innovation sociale, itinérance, jeunesse, autochtone, éducation, culture, participation citoyenne, etc.
  • Connaissances de plusieurs des champs de pratiques d’un organisme : RH, finances, opérations, financement, marketing & communications, gestion de risque, etc.
