Une tuque qui bibliothe

Vendredi dernier, j'ai ôté ma casquette d'agent aux communications à Exeko pour revêtir une chaleureuse tuque : celle de bénévole, les ambassadeurs de la pensée Exekienne. Ma tuque et moi nous nous sommes ainsi rendus à la Maison du Père afin de participer à un atelier Biblio-Libre autour du fragment. Le thème du jour : les personnages de la nuit, ces êtres incontournables de la littérature mondiale qui peuplent notre imaginaire.

Nous étions six à participer à ce nouvel atelier, Alain, Michel et Yvon, tous trois résidents de la Maison du Père, mais aussi Isabelle, médiatrice d'Exeko, Tiffanie et moi, bénévoles. Regroupé.es dans la salle Oasis, vous vous doutez bien que les discussions ne pouvaient être que fertiles... Aussi mystérieux et inquiétants soient ces êtres de la nuit, il en faut plus pour effrayer les participants qui avec une grande vivacité d'esprit ont déplié le sens de ces fragments et trouver des résonnances de ces personnages dans nos existences et nos sociétés.

Qu'il était bon de les écouter s'exprimer et s'enthousiasmer sur ces textes. Ma tuque et moi n'osions pas les interrompre de peur de les couper dans leurs élans parfois lyriques, parfois polémiques, mais toujours respectueux de la pensée de son voisin. J'ai préféré me faire discret, pour mieux enregistrer ce qu'ils racontaient. Éventuellement, lorsque la discussion s'apaisait, je me risquais à poser une timide question mais c'était pour mieux les observer s'envoler à nouveau. Je les écoutais avec attention et j’étais heureux d'observer leurs mots se bousculer dans la salle Oasis. Un moment retint particulièrement mon attention, me toucha tout particulièrement. En tout début d'atelier. Lorsque chacun partagea son coup de cœur littéraire.

Isabelle souhaitait en effet avant de plonger dans ces textes de la nuit, que les participants nous partagent un livre qui les marqua afin de les faire figurer ensuite sur des marque-pages Biblio-Libre. Un exercice que chacun aborda différemment. Il se révéla difficile pour Michel, un habitué du programme Biblio-Libre, qui a préféré nous partager non pas un, non pas deux mais bien trois coups de cœur (oui monsieur !) car, avec le temps, nous dit-il, les goûts changent et les coups de cœur aussi. Pour Alain et Yvon l'exercice fut plus facile. Alain a décidé de nous parler de Mon Combat d'Adolf Hitler car, bien que « [son] seul point commun avec Hitler, soit sa date de naissance », il voyait en cette œuvre un outil historique remarquable pour comprendre les mécanismes du nazisme et ce qui a conduit à révéler notre plus infâme visage. Et enfin il y eut le choix d'Yvon : Les Chasseurs de mammouths. Je ne connaissais pas cette œuvre mais je compte bien cesser de l'ignorer très prochainement. Je ne sais pas si Yvon s'est rendu compte à quel point sa manière de raconter l'histoire de cette jeune Ayla, héroïne de cette saga littéraire à laquelle il s'identifia très vite, me toucha. Je percevais une belle émotion dans sa voix. Une émotion communicative. Il m'a donné envie de plonger dans ce monde préhistorique qui « déniaise le cerveau », finit-il par dire avec un beau sourire.

Ma tuque et moi sommes sortis de l'atelier à 19h30, enthousiasmés par cette fin d'après-midi littéraire et philosophique. Heureux d'avoir assisté à ce beau moment de partage, de m'être nourri de paroles sages et sauvages à la fois. S'il est important pour les résidents de la Maison du Père de s'exprimer sur des sujets aussi littéraires et philosophiques que ceux abordés ce jour-là, il m'a également fait du bien d'observer les mouvements de leurs pensées. Lundi j'ai repris ma casquette d'agent aux communications... mais il est évident que ma tuque ne fait que dormir paisiblement dans un coin, encore bercée par les histoires des participants...
