Le 8 octobre 2019, les institutions culturelles qui composent le Groupe des onzes et les 60 cochercheur.euse.s issu.e.s des 9 organismes communautaires qui forment l'équipe de recherche de notre Lab' culture inclusive seront rejoint.e.s par des artistes, citoyen.nes engagé.e.es et expert.e.s des milieux sociaux, culturels et du savoir pour terminer la rédaction d'une charte d'accessibilité, d’inclusion et d'équité pour les institutions culturelles.

Ces 150 personnes auront la tâche de corédiger la version finale d'une charte dont les prémisses et recommandations ont émergées lors de deux années de recherche participative et se sont précisées lors de cinq ateliers en 2019.

Cette charte, dévoilée en 2020 sera d'abord signée par les institutions culturelles avant d’être diffusée au national et de devenir un outil de référence en matière de stratégies et pratiques d'inclusion pour le milieu de la culture.

 

C'est quoi le Lab Culture inclusive?

Ce laboratoire initié par Exeko et déployé en collaboration avec le Groupe des onzes et 60 co-chercheurs et co-chercheuses issues du communautaire vise à questionner l’accessibilité à la culture.

Projet de recherche multipartenarial, le Lab accueille une diversité d'expertises et de regards pour réfléchir ensemble les meilleures pratiques pour lutter contre l’exclusion sociale et transformer le paysage institutionnel de la culture.
