Dans le cadre de l’édition 2011, le comité organisateur est à la recherche d’un stagiaire en charge de la coordination générale d’un forum sur la place de l’artiste avec déficience intellectuelle . Everyday is a Gift gagne la 2e place dans la catégorie SERIES du festival MY HERO et est suivi de près par In the Shadow of Shangri-La qui récupère la 3e place.
Les 2 bande-annonces, présentées comme court-métrages pour l'évènement, et New Democracy Productions seront récompensés lors de la cérémonie officielle du 20 novembre donné à l'USC School of Cinematic Arts de Los Angeles à partir de 15h.
 
Deux des Everyday Heroes présentés dans Everyday is a Gift seront aussi récompensés pour leur engagement par un Hero Award: le Révérend Mpho Tutu, à travers ses actions avec le Tutu Institute for Prayer and Pilgrimage, et Ann Armstrong-Dailey, avec le Children's Hospice International.
Une nouvelle étape importante est franchie ! Après plusieurs rencontres avec différents architectes de Montréal, le comité de La Cathédrale et le Bazar a decidé de travailler avec la réputée firme d’architectes Aedifica. Dans un premier temps pour le volet habitation, Aedifica aidera à concevoir un bâtiment écologique, abordable, esthétique et audacieux.
On part maintenant à la recherche de l’édifice de nos rêves !
