Retour sur l'Effet Trickster à Waswanipi
Du 20 au 30 novembre dernier, L'Effet Trickster faisait escale dans la communauté autochtone crie de Waswanipi. Notre équipe y a reçu un accueil des plus chaleureux. Les activités du programme ont été déployées pendant 11 jours consécutifs en étroite collaboration avec les équipes du programme Grandir Ensemble, avec le soutien et la collaboration des écoles, du Conseil de Bande ou encore du Centre culturel. Notre artiste-intervenant, Maxime Lee Larose, était épaulé par une intervenante de la communauté, Erika Eagle.

Le spectacle d'ouverture a été présenté le 20 novembre, à l'occasion de la journée internationale de l'enfance. Près de 40 jeunes et 15 aînés ont par la suite pris part à nos multiples ateliers quotidiens. Les jeunes ont dès les premiers jours retenus un conte traditionnel que leur avaient transmis les aînés. Puis, jour après jour, ils se sont approprié l'histoire, l'ont explorée afin d'aboutir à une mise en scène qu'ils ont fièrement présenté devant toute l'école primaire.
Le succès du projet a été tel que nous discutons la possibilité de renouveler l'expérience dès l'été prochain. À suivre ....
 
 

L'Effet Trickster: Escale à Waswanipi.
L'équipe de l'Effet Trickster constituée par Maxime Lee Larose et François-Xavier Michaux prendra la route de la communauté Cri de Waswanipi dans les prochains jours. Du 20 au 30 novembre, ils interviendront en collaboration avec une intervenante de la communauté, Erika Eagle, auprès d'un groupe de jeunes de 9 à 12 ans ainsi qu'un groupe d’aînés. Les jeunes seront ainsi accompagnés dans la mise en scène d'un conte traditionnel Cri transmis par les aînés et le présenteront devant le reste de la communauté en fin de programme. Notre objectif est de faire vivre aux jeunes et aux aînés une situation de réussite et de partage, et ainsi, de contribuer au renforcement des liens intergénérationnels, de la confiance en soi en plus de proposer des activités créatives et physiques.

Exeko collabore au développement du Bazar, un projet proposant aux entreprises et aux travailleurs de l'économie créative des espaces de travail partagés conviviaux et professionnels répartis en espaces fermés et en espaces de coworking. Le Bazar se caractérise par ses aspects communautaires, verts et créatifs et vise à devenir un véritable incubateur d’entreprises sociales et créatives.
Le projet est à l'étude dans le quartier du Sud-Ouest. Nous aimerions connaître votre avis sur le projet afin de mieux définir ses orientations et son offre.

Proposez une activité pour D'un Oeil Différent

L’édition 2011 de D’un Oeil Différent dure maintenant 2 semaines et le comité organisateur lance un appel à activités pour l’évènement. Des plages horaires sont disponibles du 10 au 19 mars 2011 et les activités se dérouleront à l’Écomusée du Fier Monde de Montréal. Les activités peuvent concerner toutes les formes d’art, mais doivent prôner l’intégration et l’inclusion des personnes vivant avec une déficience intellectuelle tout en favorisant la mixité.
