De vidéo en performance - la journée multidisciplinaire

Par Fanny Rigault Mercredi a eu lieu la journée multidisciplinaire de « D’un oeil different ».  De 11h à 20h, des activités et rencontres venues de tous les horizons artistiques se sont succédées, de la musique à la performance en live, en passant par la vidéo et enfin le théâtre.

 

 

 

À 11h, l’Ecomusée du fier monde a commencé à vibrer au son des percussions des Compagnons de Montréal. Adultes et adolescents ont mêlé tambours, djembés, tambourins et maracas sous la direction du percussionniste professionnel Daniel Bellegarde. En à peine une heure, les participants ont appris à suivre un rythme, jusqu’à accompagner les pas endiablés d’une danseuse. De simple atelier, l’activité s’est transformée en véritable show!
(c) Gaetan Nerincx Après la pause déjeuner, l’équipe de Sans Oublier le Sourire a invité les visiteurs à « sortir du cadre » : visite guidée par la gang SOS puis création collective de cadres et discussions sur la notion de limites et comment les dépasser.

A 15h30, nos artistes de Tandem créatif ont dévoilé leurs talents en live. Gianni Mastantuono et Frédéric Péloquin ont offert leur regard, au sens propre comme au figuré, lors d’une performance sans parole inspirée de The artist is present de Marina Abramovic (découvrez le Tandem Fred / Gianni en images sur notre flickr ) . Puis, accompagnés et inspirés par le saxophoniste Damien Nisenson, Gilles Grégoire et Poli Wilhelm ont montré leur complicité en peignant leur œuvre à quatre mains devant des visiteurs fascinés (découvrez Gilles et Poli en Tandem sur notre flickr ).

Pendant cette journée d’exploration de divers médiums artistiques, le cinéma était également présent. Une salle de projection installée pour la journée proposait de visionner quelque uns des films de CameraRoll productions. A 18h, Dan et Liam, les animateurs-réalisateurs sont venus présenter leur travail auprès de jeunes autistes. Leur objectif : donner à ces jeunes la possibilité et les moyens de s’exprimer grâce aux outils vidéos. Poésie, chansons, action, effets spéciaux et surtout beaucoup d’humour et de fantaisie ont emporté instantanément l’adhésion du public.

Enfin, l’Ecomusée du fier monde s’est transformé en théâtre le temps d’une soirée. La troupe Atout-Cœur a investi l’espace pour présenter leur pièce Montréal Est-ouest, une évocation touchante du handicap à travers la trajectoire d’un danseur de hip-hop qui perd l’usage de ses jambes après avoir été agressé par les membres de son gang. L’interaction entre comédiens et danseurs avec ou sans DITED s’est révélé e remarquablement touchante, complémentaire et porteuse de sens, questionnant à la fois les forces et fragilités des corps, leur présence sur scène et le sens même du théâtre.   "Montréal Est-Ouest", la pièce (c) Troupe Atout Coeur Une superbe édition de cette journée multidisciplinaire, affaire à suivre!

Trickster@Natashquan 2013 : départ en avril!

C’est vers la communauté de Natashquan que l’équipe de Trickster voguera le 6 avril pour 15 jours. Trickster en est à sa troisième escale avec la communauté depuis 2010 - une véritable histoire d'amour avec cette communauté de la nation Innue...

Mélanie Lumsden, la chargée de projet Trickster (et très prochainement nouvelle auteure de ce blog), eainsi qu'Emmanuel Cyr et Cyril Assathiany, les deux artiste-intervenants, encadreront les deux semaines d'activités de cirque, conte, acrobaties et de théâtre pour un groupe de jeunes du secondaire de l’École Uauitshitun. Des ateliers découverte, afin d'initier des jeunes du primaire aux techniques de cirque seront aussi organisés.

Aurélien: philanthrope 2.0

Il est de ces bénévoles expatriés qu'on voudrait garder à nos côtés pour toujours...
 
Du centre de la France, Aurélien est arrivé à Montréal, et est venu nous proposer de l'aide, désireux de s'investir auprès de populations en difficulté.
 
Première rencontre, je découvre un talent impressionnant à travers son site internet, indivisu.net, sur lequel défilent de nombreux documentaires et photos tous plus empreints d'humanité. Bénévole pendant deux ans à Paris auprès de personnes en situation d'itinérance, Aurélien rejoint rapidement l'équipe d'idAction Mobile, en commençant par l'ATSA, où il réalise de superbes portraits des visiteurs du stand.

Dès lors, l'équipe d'Exeko découvre le talent d'Aurélien et le réclame sur chacun de ses projets!
Vidéaste à Trickster@MTL, photographe dans la rue ou à D'un Oeil Différent... Branché multimédia, notre bénévole réalise, en collaboration avec Henri, un montage vidéo autour d'une soirée de massothérapie à bord de idAction Mobile, ainsi que deux montages autour de Trickster. Toujours volontaire, il initie notamment nos participants en situation d'itinérance à consigner puis twitter leur conception de l'engagement citoyen !

Tandem Créatif et D'un oeil différent dans les journaux

Lundi, Marie-Pier Gagné, journaliste pour le 24 H, assistait au vernissage de D'un oeil différent et rencontrait ce soir là le Tandem Créatif trépignant d'excitation qu’était Gilles Grégoire et Poli Wilhelm, exposant leur oeuvre commune la plus récente pour la 8ème édition de D'un oeil différent, et Danielle Matte, artiste exposante habituée de l'évènement depuis plusieurs années.
 
Un très bel article à suivi dans l'édition de lundi.
