Nos propositions pour la Politique Jeunesse du Québec

 
Mai 2013, Exeko, à titre de partenaire de la Stratégie d’Action Jeunesse actuelle du Québec, était convié au lancement de Destination 2030. C’est avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme que nous avons alors pris part à cette grande réflexion collective sur l’avenir de la jeunesse portée principalement par le Secrétariat à le Jeunesse du Québec, Pauline Marois et Léo Bureau Blouin.
 
Nous avons au cours de l’été suivi et pris part à plusieurs des étapes de la consultation, que ce soit au travers le site interactif, dans notre région avec le Forum Jeunesse de l’Ile de Montréal, ou au  comité jeunesse du Réseau pour la stratégie urbaine pour la communauté autochtone de Montréal, avec les jeunes Autochtones au 3e Forum Jeunesse des Premières Nations, ou encore lors d’une rencontre avec Léo Bureau Blouin.
 
Nous avons également profité de l’occasion pour inscrire la réflexion autour d’une nouvelle politique jeunesse à l’agenda d’ateliers de médiation et de participation citoyenne avec les participants de nos projets et programmes, particulièrement idAction et idAction Mobile. Ainsi, nous avons invités des jeunes parmi les plus marginalisés du Québec à exprimer leurs propositions. Jeunes décrocheurs, jeunes incarcérés, jeunes de rue, jeunes Autochtones nous ont ainsi livré leurs préoccupations autant que leurs rêves, projetant leur identité propre, trop souvent brimée par leur marginalité et l’exclusion, dans une vision d’avenir pleine de créativité, d’audace et de sens pour la jeunesse du Québec. 
 
Cette consultation nous a permis d'être à l’écoute du milieu et des jeunes pour mieux affirmer les propositions portées par notre organisation. 
 
Le 31 octobre dernier, nous avons officiellement déposé à la Commission parlementaire qui décidera des orientations de la prochaine Politique Jeunesse du Québec, notre mémoire. Ainsi, nous avons affirmé un ensemble de propositions et de recommandations qui positionnent l’inclusion par l’innovation en culture et en éducation au cœur d’un projet de transformation sociale pour la jeunesse.
