Cet automne, en partenariat avec le Musée McCord, un tout nouveau projet prend place à bord d'idAction Mobile, notre caravane culturelle et intellectuelle: 

UN MUSÉE MOBILE!

 
Issue du travail de documentation et de mise en valeur de plus de 16 000 objets issus des Premières Nations, Métis et Inuit du Canada, des recherches passionnées de Marie-Pierre Gadoua, médiatrice pour Exeko et anthropologue consultante pour l'Institut Culturel Avataq, et de l'effervescence créative et inclusive de Mathieu Riel, cette nouvelle approche muséale inclusive propose un objectif simple: 
 
 
La caravane étant le lieu privilégié d'échanges spontanés et de rencontres innattendues, Marie-Pierre compte bien recueilir les histoires, anecdotes ou commentaires des participants à propos de leurs identités, et ce sous toutes les formes possibles: récits, enregistrements, dessins, chants etc. Alors que les témoignages ainsi recueillis seront mis en ligne pour enrichir la dimension socio-culturelle et historique de l'exposition Porter son identité, le projet vise avant tout de comprendre et valoriser l'héritage culturel des participants, que ces derniers entretiennent la relation avec leurs traditions; que passants, visiteurs et autres curieux se rencontrent et tissent ensemble des discussions enrichissantes pour tous. 
 
Est-ce que culture = identité? 
Comment protège-t-on la culture? En la préservant, en la renouvelant, en l'adaptant, en innovant? 
Les musées sont-ils des usurpateurs ou des gardiens? 
Pour vivre ensemble, faut-il échanger entre culture ou vivre simplement côte à côte? 
 
Marie-Pierre, Mathieu, médiateurs et bénévoles Exeko vous attendent au Centre d'Amitié Autochtone ainsi qu'à Projets Autochtones du Québec pour une série de rencontres et d'ateliers ouverts à tous! 
 
Besoin de plus d'inspiration? Les colloques ne donnent pas souvent envie, mais l'énergie et la passion contagieuses de Marie-Pierre nous feraient presque dire le contraire.
