Jeudi le 26 septembre 2013, les jeunes, du projet Trickster à La Tuque, présentaient leur spectacle devant une salle comble au Complexe Félix-Leclerc.

Après un peu moins de deux semaines d’ateliers de cirque, de théâtre, de jeux et de répétitions, le groupe, composé d’une vingtaine de jeunes, a fièrement performé devant la communauté de La Tuque, dans le cadre du Gala création nuits blanches, organisé par le CAALT. C’est avec nervosité, mais grand professionnalisme, qu’ils ont fait vivre le conte « Le corbeau, le renard et le lézard » rendant tout aussi fiers parents, amis et le conteur Alfred Birothé.  De la salle, nous pouvions entendre le public s’exclamer et voir les yeux briller.
 
Une soirée forte en émotion pour la majorité d’entre eux qui n’avaient jamais monté sur une scène. Quel énorme mandat que d’offrir le numéro d’ouverture dans un Gala si important au sein de la communauté latuquoise.

Après une performance jumelant théâtre, ombres chinoises, pyramides et jonglerie, ils se sont vus remettre chacun diplôme pour souligner leur participation au projet. Le Gala était lancé avec beauté grâce aux talents de ses jeunes.

L’équipe a quitté La Tuque le lendemain matin, disant un dernier bonjour au groupe, aux stagiaires Jayme, Allanys et à l’équipe du Centre d’amitié autochtone. C’est avec le sourire que les aurevoirs se sont faits. Yolande, une participante, s’exclame même qu’elle ne peut pas croire que ça fait déjà deux semaines.

Ce n’est qu’un aurevoir assurément ! À peine embarquée dans la voiture, l’équipe entend Kenya crier qu’elle demandera au conseil des jeunes, où elle siège, notre retour.
