Nadia Duguay, finaliste au concours ARISTA
 
 
Nadia Duguay est sélectionnée parmi les 21 finalistes de la 35e édition du Concours provincial ARISTA, présenté par BMO et organisé par la La Jeune Chambre de commerce de Montréal (JCCM).
Elle est l'une des 3 finalistes dans la catégorie JEUNE LEADER D'AFFAIRES DU QUÉBEC SOCIALEMENT RESPONSABLE.
Félicitations à elle!
 
Nous souhaitons également bonne chance à Claudine Labelle, Présidente et fondatrice de la FONDATION FITSPIRIT, elle aussi Fellow ASHOKA depuis 2011.

D'un oeil différent 2012 - Forum participatif
Près de 60 personnes venant aussi bien du milieu universitaire, artistique, culturel que de la déficience intellectuelle ont participé jeudi 15 mars au forum réflexif organisé dans le cadre de l'exposition D'un oeil différent à l'Écomusée du fier monde de Montréal.
 
Autour de la question "Les artistes ayant une déficience intellectuelle : que nous apporte leur différence créative?", un vrai débat s'est installé et de nouvelles questions ont été soulevées.

D'un oeil différent 2012 - Prix Janine Sutto

C'est dans le cadre de l'exposition D'un oeil différent, et plus précisément lors du vernissage, que les prix Janine Sutto ont été remis pour cette édition 2012. L'association de Montréal pour la déficience intellectuelle (AMDI) est fière de remettre chaque année deux Prix Janine Sutto, le premier soulignant le talent et la démarche artistique d'une personne vivant avec une déficience intellectuelle, et le deuxième récompensant l'innovation et la qualité d'un projet artistique initié par un organisme ou une personne et qui permet l'expression et l'intégration des personnes vivant avec une déficience intellectuelle. Lauréats 2012 Catégorie "artistes" : ex-aequo Marc Barakat foule les planches depuis plus de dix ans et se distingue par sa forte présence sur scène et sa voix sensible et singulière, quant à Carl Hennebert Faulkner, il se distingue par ses talents d'artiste multiforme et rayonne aussi bien sur les écrans de cinéma et de télévision que sur les scènes de théâtre, ou bien en tant qu'artiste visuel. Catégorie "Projet/Organisme": les Muses, véritable vivier de talents, à l'origine de belles collaborations et où la différence est vue comme une richesse créative, sont le lauréat de la
