N-YEL

 

 

 

The Youth Empowerment and Leadership Hub, dubbed "Akuk" by the members, is a pilot project that provides a platform for young adults employed by various key organizations in the community of Kangiqsualujjuaq. Faced with the complex challenges found in Nunavik communities, the members of the Hub decided to join forces to transform the community into an inclusive and dynamic space in which to learn.

 

In 2017

2 months intensive workshop to Kangiqsualujjuaq at Nunavik (Québec)  

More than 160 hours of workshop and activities  

45 intensive days of professional training, project design, project management, activity design and animation  

Organization of a major event on youth empowerment and leadership. About 250 people from the 1000 people int the community were present
