Spectacle final à Kanesatake pour l'Effet Trickster!

Hier à Kanesatake, une quinzaine des jeunes qui ont participé au 2 mois d'ateliers de l'Effet Trickster ont présenté leur spectacle final devant familles, ainés et autres membres de la communauté réunis pour l'occasion au gymnase de l'école.

 

 
Au programme: jam de jonglerie, danse traditionnelle avec le public et remise des prix pour les enfants, sans oublier la pièce de théatre centrale mise en scène par les jeunes et inspirée des contes et légendes mohawk transmises par Wariose Gabriel et Kate Oke, 2 ainés de la communauté présents pour le spectacle.
 
Le stress était palpable sur les visages des jeunes quelques minutes avant le début des représentations. Mais la satisfaction et la fierté partagées par les jeunes, leurs familles, la communauté et les intervenants a la fin du spectacle confirment le succès de cette première collaboration entre Exeko et le Conseil de Bande Mohawk de Kanesatake et son programme de prévention du crime.

Le Wapikoni Mobile partenaire d'idAction Mobile

Wapikoni Mobile et idAction Mobile: une rencontre des plus évidentes se déroulait vendredi dernier dans les bureaux du Wapikoni à Montréal.
 
Un grand merci au Wapikoni qui nous soutient pour notre projet de caravane de médiation intellectuelle à Montréal, en nous offrant gracieusement le droit de diffuser à bord certains de ses très beaux court-métrages, fruits de leurs voyages, oeuvres de cinéastes des Premières Nations du Québec.
Films d'animation, expérimentaux, témoignages, ou morceaux d'histoire, en anglais, français, innu, algonquin...bientôt à bord d'idAction Mobile!

Spectacle final à Kanesatake le 5 juin!

Le spectacle mis en scène par une vingtaine de jeunes de la nation Mohawk dans le cadre de l'Effet Trickster sera présenté jeudi soir à 19h30h. Les jeunes présenteront The Ratiweras and the Giant Snake, légende Mohawk transmise au début du programme par Wariose Gabriel et Kate Oke, deux des aînés de la communauté.  
 
Toute la communauté et les amateurs sont invités à se joindre à la représentation au gymnase de l'école!
